Tender Persuasions, or, Looking for the Hard Edge (2017)

Tender Persuasions, or, Looking for the Hard Edge explores the architecture of the body. Through drawing, paper sculpture and collage works, the exhibition considers tenderness and severity in equal measures. Hard and soft qualities of mark-making are expressed through tears, cuts, curves, curls, lines and spills, forming an intense concentration on the elasticity of the human form.

This work was shown in a solo show of the same name at the Ranger Station Art Gallery.
